LHU enhances ties with STUST through Taiwanese scholarships

In the afternoon of April 14, LHU had a working session with a delegation from STUST (Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology) to strengthen the cooperation between the two sides through scholarship programs. The working session saw the presence of LHU Vice Rector Meritorious Teacher Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan; representatives of Enterprise Relations and Student Support Center; Faculty of Oriental Studies; Faculty of International Economic Administration; Faculty of Finance and Banking nd Faculty of Auditing and Accounting; STUST Manager of International Student Management Office Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jack Y.P.Wang; Dean of International Business Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ching-Chung Lin and Lecturer of Applied Languages Faculty Ming-Lung Yang, PhD.

The scholarship semiar draw the great participation of teachers and students.

Earlier in late 2013, LHU Rector People's Teacher Dr. Do Duu Tai and  STUST President Dr. Tai Chein signed a memorandum of understanding on training cooperation and lecturers - students - materials exchange,.... between the two sides.

On the occasion, the seminar to introduce Scholarship Program 2014 took place after the working session. At the seminar, representatives of STUST introduced information about scholarship programs teachers and students wish to join. LHU also wished STUST to share experience with teaching staff in the fields of Engineering, Languages, Scientific Research and so on.

In the coming time, the two sides will focus on the project 2-2 (two-year studying at LHU and two-year at STUST). This will be a new step in international cooperation expanding strategy of LHU. Hopefully, the close tie with STUST will contribute to bringing more benefits for teachers and students of LHU.
