LHU to work with Inje University

In the afternoon of June 4, a delegation from Korea's Inje University had a working visit to Lac Hong University to exchange training cooperation plan between the two sides.

Receiving the delegation was Vice Rector Lam Thanh Hien, MSc.; Head of International Relations Dept. Dr. Huynh Trung Tam and Dean of Oriental Studies Faculty Dr. Nguyen Thi Anh. The delegation included Mr. Daehwan Moon - Coordinator of International Relations Dept. and Mr. Kim Kwang Kyun - Director of Global Hope in Vietnam.

At the working session, the two sides revealed their establishment processes as well as fields and strong points in training. For Inje University, it introduced Korean language and Korean culture courses offered to LHU students. In addition, Inje University stressed on training activities of Post-graduate program. Mentioning cooperation plan, Mr. Daehwan Moon said, the two universities would closely coordinate to select LHU's senior students of Korean Studies to take six month - apprenticeship at Inje University. Also, Inje University's students would be taken to LHU to take three month - internship. During that time, they would teach Korean language for LHU students. He also added that scholarship rate for undergraduates occupyied 50 %, and 80% for master and doctoral programs.

It is known that Inje is a renowned university in training health field. It has five hospitals to support teaching and develop its strength. This will be a strong base for the cooperation between the two universities, specifically Korean Studies - Faculty of Oriental Studies and Faculty of Pharmacy.

After this working session, the two sides will continue to exchange to reach united opinions before signing cooperation agreement. Hopefully, this cooperation relation between the two universities will be widely open and developing.
