Presenting gifts to AO/dioxin victims – third quarter of 2014

On September 12, LHU's Youth Union – Student Association in cooperation with Dong Nai AO/dioxin Victims’ Association visited and presented gifts to 20 AO/dioxin victims (third quarter of 2014 in Cam My and Dinh Quan districts. Each gift was worth VND 600,000.

Earlier, LHU's Youth Union – Student Association handed over each gift worth VND 600,000 to 20 AO/ dioxin victims in these districts.

Annually, the University raises and gathers money from its benefactors  to present gifts to AO/dioxin victims in Dong Nai province. Especially, Rector Dr. Do Huu Tai is one of the active benefactors in many charity activities aimed to help disavantaged people.

The event provided youth members a chance to learn about our precious tradition “When drinking water, remember its source” and understand more about the difficult circumstances of AO/ dioxin victims.
