LHU students of Korean Studies joined in Hangeul Festival 2014

As usual, the Korean Foundation, Korean Cultural Institute, KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency), Korean Consulate in Ho Chi Minh city in association with HCM University of Social Sciences and Humanities held Hangeul Festival 2014 on October 26 with the aim of creating a playground for all Korean language learners; linking Korean language training universities and centers in Southern region; populating Korean culture and strengthen the mutual understanding and cooperation relation between Vietnam - Korea.

The festival this year aimed to mark the 568 anniversary of Korean handwriting. During the program, the festival included many various activities such as Camping themed "Experiencing Hangeul beauty and Korean culture", Korean cuisine, Game show titled "Learning about Korea and Vietnam - Korea friendship relation and K-star themed "Your Face Sounds Familiar". Joining the Hangeul Festival 2014, Lac Hong University students of Korean Studies - Oriental Studies Faculty actively took part in many cultural activities and game shows. At the game show program, they have excellently surpassed other teams to compete with HCM city University of Social Sciences and Humanities and HCM University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology at the finale. As a result, LHU's students took third place at this contest.
