157 students of Lac Hong University received MA degrees

In the morning of January 25, Lac Hong University held a solemn ceremony to grant MA degrees to students and handed decisions in recognition of PhD level for postgraduates.

Rector Do Huu Tai awarded MA certificates to students at the ceremony.

Attending the ceremony was Rector - Chairman of Trustees Board Do Huu Tai, the University Management Board, Heads of units, MA receivers and especially postgraduates - the first generation of PhD program.

At the ceremony, 157 students in business administration, accounting, banking and finance, and information technology majors received MA certificates. The University Management Board also handed decisions in recognition of PhD level for 11 postgraduates in business administration major.

On the occasion, the University awarded certificates of merit to seven learners for their excellent academic results and scientific research.

Vice Dean of Postgraduate Education Department Nguyen Thi Lien Diep awarded certificates of merit to excellent learners.

Speaking at the ceremony, Rector - Chairman of Trustees Board Do Huu Tai highly spoke at efforts and contributions made by lecturers and students. He also expressed his wish that MA receivers had to continue to study and research to enhance their levels. He expected MA receivers to continue to get higher education program at the University which trains PhD degree of Business Administration and Computer Science.

Lac Hong University began training MA program from 2010 including four areas namely Business Administration, Accounting, Banking and Finance and Information Technology. In 2014, the University was permitted to train PhD Degree of Computer Science and Business Administration by the Government and the Ministry of Education and Training. Presently, the University has been training six courses of MA level. It has just handed decisions in recognition of postgraduates in first course - Business Administration. In the coming time, the University will continue to enroll the seven course of MA level and the first course PhD Degree of Computer Science. It is the first school in Dong Nai to provide PhD degree.
