LHU students to join in "Voluntary Saturday" campaign

On the occasion of 125th birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - 2015) and to welcome the Party Congress at all levels and aim for the 10th Party Congress of Dong Nai province, Dong Nai provincial Youth Union in cooperation with Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs organized a launching ceremony to implement youth's work as taking care of martyrs' gravestones and planting trees at province Martyrs' Cemetery.

Joining in this meaningful activity, nearly 200 youth union members and students of Lac Hong University and together with 1,300 ones from others Youth Union units tidies up and cleaned martyrs' gravestones, burned incenses in memory of heroic martyrs and planted trees around the Martyrs' Cemetery.

This activity aimed to educate young people the revolutionary tradition, patriotism, national pride and the good moral “When drinking water, remember the source",  responsibilities of the young generations in building and protecting Vietnam nation in present stage.

Comrade Le Thi Ngoc Loan - Vice Secretary of Provincial Youth Union delivered a speech at the ceremony.

This significant activity also aimed to respond to the campaign "Voluntary Saturday", emulate to establish achievements to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Uncle Ho's birthday (May 19); International Day for Biological Diversity (May 22) and educate young people awareness of traditional morals, gratefulness to heroic martyrs and environment preservation as well.
