Le Hoang Anh commended as typical teacher for the period 2008 - 2013

In the morning of November, 16 Le Hoang Anh, MSc from LHU's Faculty of Mechatronics - Electronics honored to be with 160 symbolic teachers nationwide visited Uncle Ho's mausoleum and met the President Truong Tan Sang at the presidency palace. Leading the delegation was Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Minh Hung and Chairman of  the National Education Union of Vietnam (NEUV) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Cong Phong and other officials.

In order to mark the 45 anniversary of Uncle Ho’s call for patriotic emulation movement, the 45 anniversary of his sending last letter to Education branch and to celebrate 31st anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, the Ministry of Education and Training in association with the NEUV organized a formal ceremony to commend typical teachers for the stage 2008 - 2013 which was held on November 17 at Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

At the commendation ceremony, 160 typical teachers representing 1,2 million teaching staff nationwide were praised. Especially with LHU, in addition to contributions to scientific research, teaching and emulation movements, the University has been the unit to represent Vietnam to participate in Asia Pacific Robot contest for many years. Therefore, LHU was honored to stand in the row of typical teachers who were commended at the event. This is not only a great encouragement for efforts and achievements the University has made, especially Le Hoang Anh who has taken all efforts for the past years but also a big motivation for each teacher to uphold abilities and good qualities.

Le Hoang Anh, MSc who associates with teaching and robot invention activities at LHU was the first generation of Robocon Lac Hong and the first in 2001 school year. Leading in scientific research and technology transfer, he has greatly contributed to the development of the University, especially in robocon movement. Thanks to his instructions, robot teams of LHU  which represent Vietnam to compete in ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest won silver in 2010 in Cairo, Egypt, bronze in 2011 in Bangkok, Thailand and silver in 2012 in Hong Kong. He also oriented and inspired his students to take part in robocon movement of the University, noticeable as students Cao Ba Vinh, Dao Hong Phong, Le Tien Loc,... It can be said, Le Hoang Anh is an good example for all teachers at the University.

President Truong Tan Sang bestowed merit to Le Hoang Anh, MSc.  

Speaking at the ceremony, President Truong Tan Sang praised the contributions and achievements made by typical teachers. He also stressed on the role of education for the nation's development and the importance of teaching staff in education and training. Each teacher is the subject of movement "Good teaching, good learning". Therefore, teachers need to love their career and make every effort to enhance qualifications as well as cultivate professional skills, meeting innovation of basically and comprehensively national education and training.
