LHU joins Thanh Nien Newspaper to provide career orientation to more than 9,000 students

On the morning of January 27, 2024, the Admission Counseling Delegation of LHU participated in the 26th enrollment and career counseling program by Thanh Nien Newspaper in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training. The event took place at Dong Nai University, attracting the participation of more than 9,000 high school students. Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training; Dong  Nai Department of Education and Training and more than 50 universities and colleges attended the program to provide a lot of useful information to students.

In 2024, LHU offers 26 undergraduate training programs with 4 fields: Economics, Engineering,  Health, Languages. The University also gives 1,800 scholarships worth VND 22 billion for eligible students upon admission. Up to now, LHU has partnered with nearly 1,000 businesses, thereby opening up many experience opportunities for students while at university.

At the program, a large number of high school students were present at LHU’s consulting booth to learn about the University and its majors. They were interested in new majors being trained at LHU such as: Public Relations; Multimedia communication, Artificial Intelligence, Logistics... Accordingly, the LHU's consulting team assisted them in developing a career orientation and selecting a suitable major after graduating from high schools, especially shared with them about stress and anxiety during the admission process. In addition, LHU has shared materials and test samples for the national high school graduation exam to help candidates practice and gain confidence.

At the enrollment and career counseling program, students were provided with the latest information about the high school graduation exam and admission to universities and colleges in 2024, career orientation, study plans; answered their concerns about admission and studying at the university level,... Here, they also had the opportunity to meet directly with representatives of universities and colleges to answer questions about training programs, career opportunities as well as student support policies.
