Lecturer of the Faculty of Finance - Accounting participated in the Webinar "Conceptual Framework for the IFRS First-time Adoption Finacial Statements

On the morning of August 26, 2021, lecturers of the Faculty of Finance - Accounting, Lac Hong University participated in the accounting seminar of the National Club of Chief Accountants (VCCA) for the 6th session with the theme “Conceptual Framework for the IFRS First-time Adoption Finacial Statements”.

The event was organized in partnership with CPA Australia, with the sponsorship of the Ministry of Finance and the coordination of the Academy of Finance, PWC Vietnam.

The purpose of the workshop was to lay out the basic concepts for financial reporting, establish the procedures and processes that an entity must follow when applying the IFRS standards for the first time, and share experiences. prepare financial statements for the first time under IFRS.

Attending the seminar will be an opportunity for lecturers of the Faculty of Finance - Accounting, Lac Hong University to improve their knowledge and innovate teaching methods in line with current integration trends. Hopefully with new knowledge, the teaching staff will increasingly impart to students practical knowledge and opportunities for students' career development in the future.
