Recently, the phrase startup - startup has been mentioned quite often and is receiving a lot of attention from students in university classrooms. There have been many students who tried their hand at roles such as the owner of a clothing store, fashion accessory or a business of handmade items, etc. So we should first understand the phrase "Startup - Startup" as how? Starting a business is running your own business, paying for yourself and others, not receiving a monthly salary from an employer. Or in other words, “Starting a business is when you open yourself a business that can be a store, a farm, a livestock, or a factory”.

In order to help students apply theoretical knowledge that can be applied to entrepreneurship, the Faculty of Finance - Accounting, Lac Hong University is constantly innovating teaching methods, combined with training in soft skills. support for students. At the same time, collaborating with organizations and businesses to create many practical activities, promote and arouse startup ideas among students in recent years.

Over the years, the start-up projects of students of the Faculty of Finance - Accounting have not only stopped at competitions but also been implemented in practice. Not only supporting students, the Faculty constantly supports as well as advises and inspires alumni of the faculty. One of the successful start-up projects of the alumni of the faculty who won the first prize in the startup competition organized by the Women's Union of Dong Nai province is the project "Van Huong clean incense sticks" by former student Le. Thi Cam Van, class 08KT111. This is a practical product, protecting the environment and human health, associated with the cultural life of Vietnamese people.

Hopefully the projects and ideas of the students and alumni will always fuel the entrepreneurial ideas of the next generation of students.
