Students of the FFA Present Their Second Thesis Progress Report – Preparing for the Final Defense Stage

On the evening of October 3, 2025, at Lac Hong University, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting organized the Second Thesis Progress Presentation for students of the 2025–2026 graduating class. This event served as an important milestone to assess students’ research progress and outcomes before entering the official thesis defense stage.

The presentations were conducted in person across specialized subcommittees, with the participation of the Faculty Board of Management, thesis supervisors, evaluation panels, and all final-year students from the Accounting, Finance and Banking, and Logistics & Supply Chain Management majors.

During the session, each student presented a summary of their research objectives, methodology, key findings, and completion plan, while receiving feedback, critical comments, and academic guidance from faculty members. Conducting the reports within subcommittees promoted higher levels of academic interaction, allowing students to strengthen their presentation, critical thinking, and defense skills — essential competencies for the upcoming official defense.

In his remarks, the Faculty leadership acknowledged the students’ dedication and academic rigor throughout their research process. The instructors emphasized that the second progress report represents a crucial preparatory stage, enabling students to refine their research content, consolidate arguments, validate findings, and ensure the overall quality of their theses prior to final submission and defense.

The session took place in a serious, scholarly, and constructive atmosphere. Many research topics were commended by the evaluation committees for their practical applicability and scientific value, reflecting students’ strong commitment, creativity, and independent research mindset.

This event not only marked an important milestone in the academic journey of final-year students but also reaffirmed the Faculty of Finance and Accounting’s commitment to enhancing practice-oriented education, promoting research capacity, and fostering scientific thinking among students at Lac Hong University.
