Finance and Banking Students Gain Practical Experience at Techcombank Dong Nai

To strengthen the connection between classroom theory and the practical working environment, while enabling students to gain early exposure to professional activities in the finance and banking sector, on the morning of April 11, 2026, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Lac Hong University organized a field visit and practical learning session at Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) – Dong Nai Branch for students of class 25NH111, with the participation of 49 students and supervising lecturers.

The program was designed to narrow the gap between academic training and real-world business demands, allowing students to gain a more direct understanding of the professional environment within a modern commercial bank. This is one of the practical initiatives consistently emphasized by the Faculty as part of its application-oriented educational approach.

During the visit, representatives of Techcombank Dong Nai Branch introduced students to the bank’s operational model, corporate culture, workflow processes, modern transaction space, and the financial and banking products and services currently being implemented. Students also had the opportunity to hear practical insights regarding internship opportunities, recruitment processes, career pathways, and competency requirements in the digital banking sector.

In particular, students were introduced to attractive career trends in the industry, including customer relationship management, corporate credit services, financial analysis, digital banking, risk management, and financial investment advisory. These are positions with strong labor demand, competitive income levels, and promising career prospects. As a result, students gained greater motivation and clearer direction in choosing their academic and professional pathways.

In addition to the professional presentations, the program also included an interactive discussion session between students and company representatives. Numerous questions related to interview skills, promotion opportunities, the application of AI in banking, essential skills while studying, and keys to professional success were thoroughly addressed, creating an open atmosphere and strongly inspiring participants.

Through this practical learning experience, students not only reinforced their disciplinary knowledge but also had the opportunity to develop professional etiquette, communication skills, customer service thinking, and adaptability to a modern corporate environment. These are important assets that will help them confidently enter the labor market upon graduation.
