The AUN-QA assessment team highly appreciate LHU’s lab system

On the afternoon of March 7, 2023, the AUN-QA assessment team started their working session by collecting evidence through visiting facilities at the University level. Selected facilities include library, computer room system, studio room, IoT Lab, AI Lab, Center of Scientific Research and Applications, fitness room, dormitory,... In particular, the delegation spent most of the time on the innovative room system at LHU (studio room, IoT Lab, AI Lab).

The assessment team was attracted by LHU’s investments in facilities and technology serving students' and lecturers’ research.

The AUN-QA assessment team was impressed with the LHU’s Labs

Visiting the studio room (or LHU's mini TV station) right when students were producing the bulletin of the opening of the AUN - QA assessment, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rusnadi Padjung - Hasanuddin University (Indonesia) admired the professional and convenient working and studying spaces of LHU students. He said "It's so great here, please take a picture for me right here, this position". Also, after knowing the functions of the room, Dr. Maria Resurreccion P. Alejo – Ateneo de Manila University (Philippines) expressed “This room is so special”.

Especially, when visiting the AI Lab, the assessment team was so interested in robots and technology projects of lecturers and students. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eric Wibisono - University of Surabaya, Chief of the assessment team directly "interviewed" robots of LHU. Through the programmed software, the robot's responses and actions made him quite excited and linger longer than scheduled.
