Financial Affairs

Functions and responsibilities

  • Acting as a counseling unit to help the Rector manage, make financial plans, and supervise receipts and expenses, financial uses and other matters relating to finance and property of the university under nation’s and Management Board’s regulations.
  • Preparing and compiling the budget estimates based on the university’s actual situation, then submitting them to the Rector for his decisions and monitoring the implementation of the approved plan.
  • Preparing accounting system to oversee the university’s revenues and expenditures as prescribed by the State, making periodical reports in accordance with the State’s regulations and fulfilling all duties to it.
  • Coordinating with Department of Facilities - Equipment Management to manage and inventory the university’s property, making annual assets depreciation as regulated.
  • Maintaining records and documents in accordance with the State’s regulations
