The Chinese Language Department Organized a Seminar on Chinese Study Abroad Scholarships

On the morning of October 7, 2023, the Chinese Language Department in collaboration with the International Relations Office organized a seminar on study abroad scholarships and exchange scholarships with Luodong University for students majoring in Chinese Language. The seminar was attended by Dr. Hsiao Mao Yuan – Lecturer from Luodong University, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh – Head of the International Relations Office, Ms. Hoang Tien Dung – Deputy Head of the International Relations Office, Ms. Phan The Anh – Head of the Chinese Language Department, and lecturers and students from the Chinese Language Department.

This activity is part of a series of activities to seek scholarships for students majoring in Chinese Language. Additionally, every year, the Chinese Language Department, in collaboration with the International Relations Office, frequently organizes cooperation activities with universities in China, aiming to expand relationships with international universities.

At the seminar, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh – Head of the International Relations Office introduced the study abroad program and its benefits to the students. Dr. Hsiao Mao Yuan – Lecturer from Luodong University, representing the partner university, presented an overview of the school as well as the study and living conditions for students studying abroad.

Ms. Phan The Anh – Head of the Chinese Language Department expressed: "This is a valuable opportunity for students to receive a full scholarship to study abroad in a native-speaking country and have the chance to experience and practice Chinese in China."

Luodong University, China, and Lac Hong University signed a cooperation agreement in 2022. The two universities aim to promote cooperative activities to provide beneficial programs for students. Through this seminar, students gained a better understanding of the benefits offered by the program, as well as the opportunities to receive study abroad scholarships at Luodong University, China.
