Faculty of English Language warmly welcomes the Class of 2026

On the morning of October 2, 2026, the Faculty of English Language at Lac Hong University (LHU) hosted the “Welcome Freshmen – Class of 2026” program at Auditorium A301, Campus 1, officially marking the beginning of the university journey for the intake of K26.

The event was attended by Mr. Le Duc Thinh, Dean of the Faculty; Mr. Dang Thi, Vice Dean; alongside the dedicated team of Academic Advisors, faculty members, and a vibrant gathering of the new intake. Opening the orientation session, Mr. Le Duc Thinh provided an overview of the curriculum framework, expected learning outcomes, and foreign language proficiency development pathways. He further emphasized the importance of self-directed learning, an international integration mindset, and continuous self-improvement in higher education.

Following the opening remarks, Mr. Dang Thi delivered key insights into the "Student Journey", highlighting critical academic milestones over the four-year program. On this occasion, K26 freshmen were also formally introduced to their Academic Advisors—the mentors who will guide, accompany, and support them throughout their university life.

The interactive Q&A session offered an open and engaging platform where students could voice questions and receive practical advice regarding university study methodologies, language acquisition tracks, and extracurricular opportunities. Beyond academic orientation, the event was enriched with dynamic musical performances, networking activities, ice-breaker games, and an exciting Lucky Draw, creating warm and unforgettable first impressions for all new students. A brand new chapter has officially begun.

The Faculty of English Language wishes the Class of 2026 proactive learning spirits, courage to explore new experiences, and great success in forging their own unique paths over the next four years at Lac Hong University! Welcome, K26, to the Faculty of English Language—where your future begins!
