LHU to launch Robot contest 2016

Recently, LHU officially launched Robot contest 2016 at Center for Application and Scientific Research - Campus 6, attracting the great participation of students who love technology.

At the launching ceremony, Vice Rector Lam Thanh Hien - Head of Robocon Contest made an opening speech. To him, the contest is a great opportunity for students to learn from each other. More importantly, they have chances to train skills in creating robots. Each theme of the robot contest is a new challenge to those who love technology. Through creating robots, students can accumulate knowledge and experience to be able to serve their jobs after graduation. The University always supports its students all aspects to maximize their abilities and potentialities.

The launching ceremony attracted the large number of technical students.

Also at the event, the Robocon Organization Board introduced the theme and competition laws of 2016 robot contest. Participations were provided explanation and responses to their questions related to the theme of ABU Asia - Pacific Robot Contest 2016 "Clean Energy Recharging the World" which will be held in Thailand.

After this launching ceremony, the Organization Board has accepted registration forms from student teams. Freshmen and sophomore students are encouraged to combine with senior ones to establish a team to learn experience from each other. In the coming time, registered teams will experience contests: Idea contest, Design contest and others to select the best teams to compete in the regional qualifying round of the Vietnam Robocon.
