Introduction

International cooperation is a one of LHU's greatest strengths. With the purpose of expanding and promoting the effectiveness of international cooperation while maintaining high quality in education and training, LHU aims to strengthen long term cooperative relations with reputable international universities and organizations by working together to do joint research and technology transfer, hold international conferences, exchange students and lecturers, etc. Thanks to international collaboration programs, LHU has improved its quality in teaching, learning and research.
Nearly 20 years of establishment and development, Lac Hong University has signed 558 cooperation agreements with enterprises, including 152 foreign invested capital businesses.
Currently, LHU is working cooperatively and signing MOU with more than 23 foreign universities, colleges and organizations throughtout Asia, Europe and Americas such as England, Germany, Japan, Korea, China and Taiwan; BANPAKU, KOICA, Sanhak organizations, etc.  Cooperation with Asian nations such as Cambodia, Laos, the Philippines,... has been diversified and developed.
The Department of International Relations is established to manage all of the LHU's cooperative projects. The department is acting as a counseling unit to help the Management Board in external relations and also responsible for the following duties:
Holding negotiations and meetings between the University and foreign institutions. Preparing all related documents and papers.
Editing contracts, organizing signing ceremonies between the two sides and planning to supervise the implementation of signed agreements.
Being a leading unit in cooperating with international organizations in academic, research, teaching staff and student exchange programs.
Searching scholarships from oversea universities and colleges for the University's teachers, students and staff.
Building and deploying programs of oversea study consultancy, holding seminars, conferences on academics, scientific research with schools from abroad.
Following legal procedures in signing with partners.
Making periodical reports on cooperative activities.
Building medium-term and long-term strategies and annual plan for international cooperation.
Providing advice and support for units and staff about information related to international relations.
Consulting associate training program in undergraduate education with universities around the globe.
Coordinating with the Administrative Affairs to watch and manage delegations from abroad, facilitating their arrival and departure.
Holding receptions to welcome international delegations.
Acting as an Overseas Study Consultancy Center which consults people who want to study abroad and helps in processing overseas studying procedures.
