The 25th LHU Science and Technology Festival to be held

32 best papers of Technical and Economics students have been successfully reported at the 25th LHU Science and Technology Festival held in the morning of December 30 at campus 1 - Lac Hong University.

Board of Jury at the festival

The festival gathered 28 Technical and 4 Economic papers. At plenary session, the Council of Assessment was completely won by the topic "Designing and making mixing machine for labs" carried out by Phan Ngoc Duc and Tran Bao Hung, instructed by DSc. Nguyen Vu Quynh and Postgraduate Pham Van Toan - Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics. Earlier, this paper has won Silver Medal at Ho Chi Minh City Creative Youth Exhibition, Third Prize at Dong Nai provincial Technical Creation Contest and certificate of merit awarded by Dong Nai provincial Youth Union for its economic effectiveness.

Students of Mechatronics and Electronics Faculty reported their project at the plenary session of the festival.

On the occasion, the Organization Board awarded certificates of merit to 33 lecturers with 20 wining projects at 2014 Vifotec (Vietnam Fund for Supporting Technological Creations) 2014 Vietnam Young Science Talent Award and Dong Nai provincial Technical Creation Contest. These projects were carried out by Faculties of Mechatronics and Electronics, International Business Administration, Pharmacy, Civil Engineering, Chemical and Environment Engineering and Information and Resources Center.

Rector Do Huu Tai awarded certificates of merit to lecturers whose projects won scientific research awards at all levels of the academic year 2014 - 2015.

As a non-public university which attaches special importance to research activities, speeding up scientific research to a higher level, for the past year, LHU teachers and students have been listed in valuable awards such as Vietnam Young Science Talent Award, Vifotec, and Technical Creation Contest. Only in 2014, the University spent VND 242 million on rewards awarded to winning authors (exclusive expenses supporting implementing processes).
