2016 Career Orientation Festival held at LHU

Recently, a crowded number of high school students in Bien Hoa city and some nearby districts gathered at the Center for Application and Scientific Research - LHU to attend the 2016 Career Orientation Festival.

The Festival attracted the participation of a large number of high school students.

2016 Career Orientation Festival was held by LHU Department of Student Recruitment in cooperation with Faculties. The program saw the presence of the Advisory Board including Mr. Do Thanh Duy - Head of Educational Testing and Qualification Recognition Department - Bureau of Educational Testing and Quality Assurance (The Ministry of Education and Training) - Member of Board of Examination Regulations Compilation; DSc. Lam Thanh Hien - Standing Vice Rector of LHU; Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia - Vice Director of Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Nguyen Huy Hoang - Vice Director of the Center for Human Resources Supply and Training - Bien Hoa Industrial Zone Management Board; DSc. Ho Vien Phuong - Deputy Manager of LHU Department of Academic Affairs.

Head of Educational Testing and Qualification Recognition Department Do Thanh Duy provided high school students with useful advice at the event.

Leaders of LHU faculties played roles of advisers at the festival.

At the festival, participants were provided with useful information about 2016 student recruitment regulations. The program was also an occasion for parents and students to learn about LHU training programs and activities. Having a general view about LHU, students could choose favorite careers suitable for their abilities. In addition, high school students joined in exhibition booths introducing faculties, training majors and activities as well as job opportunities after graduation.

Exhibition booths of faculties attracted the great attention of a lot of high school students.

The program was also a bridge for experts and teachers to shared experience and initiatives in career orientation and consultancy tasks, helping high school students choose prospective careers appropriate for their learning abilities and conditions.
