Teacher Dang Thi won Lac Hong Bolero Contest

With an emotive singing voice, Mr. Dang Thi - Lecturer of English Language Faculty successfully performed the song "Doi khong co em" (Life without you) composed by Rector Do Huu Tai and won First prize at 2016 Lac Hong Bolero Contest.

Mr. Dang Thi - Faculty of English Language won Solo First prize at 2016 Lac Hong Bolero Contest.

The competition attracted the participation of 33 performance items. Closing the qualifying round held on November 16, the Organization Board selected 15 best items for the finale which took place on November 19.

The competition was attended by Vice Rector - Chairman of Trade Union - Head of Organization Board Diem Cam Thu, Vice Rector Lam Thanh Hien, Vice Rector - Vice Chairman of Trade Union Nguyen Van Nam and a large number of lectures, staff and fans.

2016 Lac Hong Bolero Contest lied in a series of activities to celebrate the 20 th anniversary of LHU establishment (1997 - 2017) and 34th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20). The contest has brought LHU men and women a new playground, a profound music performance with immortal songs.

Ms. Nguyen Ho Xuan Huong and Mr. Phan Viet Duc Hoang from Department of Student Affairs won Duo First prize.

At the competition, the Board of Juries including Singer Nguyen Ngoc Khoa, M.A - Vice Rector of Dong Nai provincial Vocational School of Culture and Arts, Singer Hoang Thanh Huong, M.A - Military District 7 Artistic group - HCM City and Singer Nhu Hai Yen, M.A - Vocal music lecturer of Ho Chi Minh city College of Cultural and Arts shared a lot of experience in performance and selecting songs to help candidates be more confident in next contest.

At the event, the Organization Board also awarded 10 lucky gifts sponsored by Home Credit Vietnam Company to 10 lucky spectators in lots drawing program.
