LHU teams ready for Shell-Ecomarathon Asia 2017

In the middle of March, members of LH-Gold Energy and LH-Green Energy teams had a meeting with the University Management Board before departing for Singapore to attend the fuel-efficient vehicles’ contest (Shell-Ecomarathon Asia 2017) between March 15 and 18.

The University Management Board gave the teams a send-off before their starting out.

Attending Shell-Ecomarathon Asia 2017, LHU has two teams (LH-Gold Energy and LH-Green Energy) competing at Urban Concept category and using Ethanol fuel and Electricity. Earlier, LHU won the championship title with the result of 185km/l Ethanol for two successive years. This is the first time the team tries with vehicle run by electricity.

At the meeting, the leader of LH-Gold Energy team said the whole team was ready for the contest and gained the result of 220 km/Ethanol and 120km/kwh of electricity on a trial run.

Shell - Eco marathon Asia 2017 attracts the participation of 120 teams coming from 20 countries. There are 10 teams from universities in Vietnam including LHU. In early morning of March 15, LHU teams departed for Singapore. The same day, the teams would register to receive vehicles and prepare for the coming technical tests.
