LHU continues to work with STUST on cooperation program

In the morning of April 18, a delegation from Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST) led by Dr. Ming Lung Yang - Head of International Student Management Division had a working visit with representatives of LHU to discuss lecturer exchange program and scholarship program for Technical and Economic branches.

Receiving the delegation were Head of International Relations Dept. Huynh Trung Tam, Dean of Faculty of Mechatronics - Electronics Nguyen Vu Quynh and Vice Manager of Academic Affairs Dept. Luu Ngoc Cuong.

The cooperation program to exchange lecturers and students was mentioned in the previous working visit in 2016. Presently, through DSc. Nguyen Vu Quynh -  Dean of Faculty of Mechatronics - Electronics (former postgraduate in STUST), the lecturers and students exchanging program between the two sides has been discussing to be done.

Especially, in this working session, STUST introduced scholarship program for those who graduated from vocational college in LHU and wished to study at STUST. By the cooperation program between the two universities, students will be free 100% school fee in two years at STUST.

Dr. Ming Lung Yang exchanged the program to exchange lecturers with LHU.

The two sides had worked for over two hours to discuss the cooperation program as well as criteria in scholarship program of STUST in detail. According to representative of STUST, STUST has coordinated with LHU to offer high education to lecturers of Electrical, Electronic - Automatic majors, also awarding many scholarships to LHU students. The cooperation relation between STUST and LHU has been tied for a long time, specifically through building associate program to exchange lecturers and students. Currently, to implement the above program, the two sides will discuss more about the training program and directions. In the future, if the program is carried out, it will bring many study and research opportunities for lecturers and students of LHU.
