LHU students win prizes at Miss Sakura beauty pageant

Lying in the series of activities of the 6th Vietnam - Japan Cultural Exchange Festival, the final of 2018 Miss Sakura beauty pageant - Vietnam - Japan Students' Beauty took place at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education on May 22. At the end of the contest, Miss Universe Vietnam 2015 Pham Huong had named Le Thi Mai Huong and Le Thi Hang for the Second and Third prizes. They both are students of 15th Japanese Studies major from Lac Hong University.

Miss Le Thi Mai Huong - Class 15DN115 excellently received First runner-up and Best Answer prizes.

Miss Sakura beauty pageant was organized by Giang Anh Group and Association of Japanese Education JLAN at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education in mid May. This is a "talent - beauty" playground for students studying Japanese studies at universities and colleges in the southern area. Contestants were judged in criteria such as beauty, charm, talents and knowledge of the culture, behavior of the Japanese people and country.

Miss Pham Huong awarded Second runner-up and the most beautiful Kimono Performance prizes to Le Thi Hang - Class 15DN114.

Le Thi Hang had an impressive talent performance at the contest.

After passing rounds: Performing ao dai costumes, performing talents, performing kimono costumes and surpassing other candidates, Le Thi Mai Huong and Le Thi Hang excellently reached the top 7 to attend Answer part. As a result, Le Thi Mai Huong won First runner-up and Best Answer prizes. The Second runner-up and the most beautiful Kimono Performance prizes belonged to Le Thi Hang.
