Handing over charity house to a difficult family

Recently, Lac Hong Charitable Fund in cooperation with Lac Hong Bilingual School and Long My commune's People Committee held a ceremony to hand over a charity house to the family of Mrs. Le Thi Tham and Hoang Kim residing in Long Hoa 2 hamlet, Long My commune, Mang Thit district, Vinh Long province. The house with a cost of VND 60 million was contributed by Lac Hong Charitable Fund, teachers, students, benefactors....

Attending the handing over ceremony were Mr. Luu Thanh Cong - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Vinh Long province, Ms. Nguyen Thi Be Thu - Chairwoman of Mang Thit district's Inspection Committee, Mr. Dao Thanh Tin - Party Secretary of Long My commune and Mr. Huynh Hoang Phong - Vice Chairman of Long My commune People's Committee. The ceremony also saw the presence of LHU Rector Do Huu Tai - Chairman of Lac Hong Charitable Fund, Chairwoman of the Trustees Board Do Thi Lan Dai - Principle of Lac Hong Bilingual School, Chief of the Rector's Office - Head of Administrative Affairs Department Le Van Hung, Head of Student Affairs Department Nguyen Ho Xuan Huong, Head of Equipment and Facilities Management Department Chau Quang Trang - Head of Social Charity Board, benefactors, teachers and students.

At the ceremony, in addition to donating the charity house, Lac Hong Charitable Fund presented many practical gifts serving daily needs and cash worth VND 41 million to the family of Mrs. Tham. Also, Rector Do Huu Tai visited and sponsored medicine expenses for Hoang Kim to treat blood cancer.
