​LHU teams ready for Vietnam Robocon and SEM 2019

In the morning of April 25, LHU held a send-off ceremony for its robot teams and fuel-efficiency vehicle teams to prepare for the Vietnam Robot Contest and SEM 2019 (Shell Eco-marathon Asia). The ceremony took place at the Center for Scientific Research and Application, seeing the presence of Rector Do Huu Tai, Permanent Vice Rector Lam Thanh Hien - Head of Robocon Management Board, Vice Rector Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, Vice Rector Nguyen Vu Quynh, leaders of departments and units and members of robot teams and SEM teams.

Participating in the Southern regional qualifier, LHU had six robot teams. As a result, five of them (LH-BFF, LH-OCEAN, LH-WAO, LH-STORM and LH-LEGEND) were chosen for the National Robocon 2019. The national finals will be held from May 7 - 12 in Hai Duong province, also choosing the best team representing Vietnam at the 2019 Asian-Pacific Robot Contest scheduled for August 25 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia with the theme "Great Urtuu" (Sharing the knowledge).

Robot and SEM teams showed their determination to win victory at the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Head of Lac Hong Robocon Management Board Lam Thanh Hien issued an order for robot teams. This is a traditional activity of Lac Hong Robocon. Following that, Head of Robocon Delegation 2019 Nguyen Ba Thuan on behalf of instructors and teams made a promise of determination.

The SEM 2019 will be held from April 26 - May 2 in Malaysia

Up to now, LHU is the leading name in terms of achievements at the Vietnam Robocon and ABU Asia-Pacific Robocon (8 national championships, 3 international championships) and 4 championships at Shell Eco marathon Asia. Thousands of hearts of LHU and senior leaders are waiting for a new meaningful record set by robot teams and SEM teams.
