10 students of LHU received the scholarship “Prosperity with Cathay”

On February 24, 2023, LHU cooperated with Cathay Life Insurance (Vietnam) Co., Ltd to organize the scholarship awarding ceremony "Prosperity with Cathay" in 2022-2023 for 10 students with difficult circumstances.

This year, 10 students of the Department of Chinese Language, Faculty of Oriental Studies are honored to receive the Prosperity Scholarship with Cathay. Each scholarship is worth 10 million VND.

Attendees from LHU were Nguyen Thi Hoang Qanh, M.A - Head of the Office of International Affairs cum Vice Dean of Faculty of Oriental Studies; Hoang Tien Dung, M.A - Vice Head of the Office of International Affairs; Phan The Anh, M.A - Program Head of Chinese Language; Luong Van Huy, M.A - Department Head of Chinese Language and all lecturers and students majoring in Chinese Language. 

Representatives from Cathay Life Insurance (Vietnam) Co., Ltd were Mr. Cheng Fu Ho – Director; Ms. Li Luc Mui - Deputy Director of Sales Department; Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong, Nguyen Thuy Nga and Ms. Hua Thuy Van - Assistants.

At the scholarship awarding ceremony, Mr. Phan The Anh - Head of Chinese Language Department sincerely thanked the Cathay Life Insurance (Vietnam) Co., Ltd for donating scholarship to his disadvantaged students. He also hoped that this scholarship can motivate the students to study harder.

In addition to awarding scholarships, representatives of Cathay Vietnam also exchanged and shared with the participants about the company’s profile and working environment.
