Conference to summarize Party work in 2023 and implement tasks in 2024

On January 9, 2024, at Hall B203, LHU Party Committee organized a conference to summarize Party work in 2023 and deploy tasks in 2024.

Attending the conference were Comrade Bui Quang Huy - member of Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Provincial Agencies; Comrade Tran Van Gioi - member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Propaganda Committee of the Block Party Committee. From LHU, there were Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Rector; Comrade Nguyen Vu Quynh - Party member, Vice Rector; and secretaries, deputy secretaries of Party cells, leaders of organizations and 119 Party members under the University Party Committee.

Representing the Party Standing Committee, Mr. Le Son Quang - member, Chairman of the Party Inspection Committee presented a report summarizing the Party's work in 2023, outlined directions and tasks for 2024, Party Committee Resolutions in 2024. All Party members have actively discussed and unanimously approved the report.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Bui Quang Huy highly appreciated the LHU Party's work in 2023, and praised the outstanding achievements made by the University's pedagogical collective in recent times.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Lan emphasized the key contents in 2023 and 2024: implementing solidarity and unity in the Party and the University, well organizing the political and ideological education, enhancing self-criticism and criticism amongst cadres and Party members, especially implementing the movement of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle.

In 2023, the University Party Committee, organizations, and affiliated units well implemented tasks related to expertise; politics; ideology; order and security assurance and gained excellent achievements. Specifically, the Party Committee led the Student Association to successfully organize the Congress of the Vietnamese Student Association of LHU, term 2023 - 2025; directed the Trade Union to successfully hold the LHU Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2028.
