LHU Trade Union attends the Vietnam Education Union's preliminary conference on Trade Union activities

• On January 25, 2024, LHU's Trade Union attended a preliminary conference on Trade Union activities in the first 6 months and participated in a Tet space decoration contest held by the Vietnam Education Union on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024 with the theme "Tet reunion - Spring sharing". Union officials and members from the North and South gathered at Hoa Phuong Do Hotel, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province to attend the conference.

• The preliminary conference saw the participation of more than 160 Union officials, teachers from the Education Union of provinces and cities and a number of universities in the Southeast region; and more than 200 students in Vung Tau city.

At the event, delegates, Union members, employees and students enjoyed musical performances to welcome the New Year of Wood Dragon 2024; exchanged and shared experience on current Trade Union activities; participated in activities such as banh chung (square sticky rice cake) and banh tet (cylindrical sticky rice cake) making; folk games; parallel sentence writing contest; lucky wheel....

On the occasion, the Vietnam Education Union awarded 322 Tet gifts worth more than VND 700 million from the Union's budget, benefactors and sponsors to support and motivate Union members, employees in difficult circumstances to enjoy a warm and peaceful Tet.

Along with the activities to welcome the new spring, the Vietnam Education Union organized a contest for Tet space decorations. As a result, the LHU Trade Union won Third prize.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of 2024, the Chairman of the Vietnam Education Union extended New Year greetings to all union officials, members and employees.
