Get-together to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union

The Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of LHU on March 23, 2024 organized a solemn ceremony to celebrate the 93rd founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - 2024).

Attending the ceremony, on the side of Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union, was Ms. Phung Thi Phuong Thao - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union.

On the LHU's side, there were Outstanding Teacher Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - Vice Secretary of Party Committee, Vice Rector; Comrade Truong Le Bao Trinh - Secretary of Youth Union; representatives of affiliated units; former Secretaries; and more than 300 students, Union cadres and members.

Opening the event, Secretary of Youth Union Truong Le Bao Trinh reviewed the glorious historical tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union during the past 93 years.

Representing the Board of Rectors, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan delivered a speech to congratulate and praise generations of Youth Union officials, union members and youths for their efforts and great contributions to the Youth Union work; at the same time affirming the University's Party Committee and leaders always put their trust in the young generations of the University - the future intellectuals of the country.

Handing over the list of 186 outstanding Union members for the Party Committee's admission consideration

On the occasion, the Executive Committee of the Youth Union praised and commended 12 Union cadres for their outstanding achievements and contributions to Youth Union work and movements in 2024; awarded scholarships to Union cadres with difficult circumstances.

Also, the Committee admitted 250 outstanding students to the Youth Union and introduced 186 excellent Union members for the Party Committee's admission consideration.
