LHU visits Jiangxi province, China to expand partnerships and strengthen global engagement

From March 22 to 25, 2026, a delegation from LHU visited universities, enterprises, and organizations in Jiangxi province, China.

The visit aimed to promote collaboration in education and research while creating more opportunities for students to study and undertake internships in an increasingly globalized educational environment.

The delegation was led by Dr. Huynh Cao Tuan, Vice Rector, and included Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh, Head of the Office of International Affairs; MSc. Van Dinh Vy Phuong, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology; MSc. Phan Thi Huong, Head of the Communication Division; and MSc. Huynh Phan Nhu Ngoc, Lecturer in Communication at the Faculty of Information Technology.

The participation of key administrators and faculty members from different fields reflects the University’s strategic commitment to interdisciplinary development, stronger links between education and industry practice, and deeper international integration.

As part of the program, the delegation visited and explored several representative education–industry collaboration models in Jiangxi. On the morning of March 22, the delegation visited the Meinian Da Jiankang Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Experience Center in Jingdezhen, a model combining traditional Chinese medicine with modern healthcare services. The visit provided valuable insights for developing interdisciplinary training programs in health-related fields.

On March 23, the delegation visited and worked with Jiangxi Normal University. During the visit, the two institutions signed a cooperation agreement covering faculty and student exchange as well as joint scientific research, marking an important milestone in establishing a strategic partnership between the universities.

Later that day, the delegation continued its visits and working session with Jiangxi Youge Sports Culture Co., Ltd. and the Jiangxi Interior Decoration Industry Association to learn about workforce demands and discuss potential collaboration in developing practice-oriented training programs aligned with business needs.

On March 24, the delegation visited the National Industry – Education Integration Base for Digital Marketing (Douyin Academy), followed by a tour of a short-film production and livestream studio in the Ganjiang New Area - innovative training models closely connected with the creative industries. In the afternoon, the delegation worked with Shike Interactive Technology Joint Stock Company, Kexiaole New Media Company, and Leiman Media (KOL Training Center), gaining deeper insights into digital content production models and human resource development in the new media sector.

The working trip not only strengthened and expanded LHU’s international partner network but also provided valuable practical insights into emerging educational trends, particularly in digital technology, media, and the creative economy.

The outcomes of the visit will serve as an important foundation for the University to continue innovating its academic programs, improving the quality of human resources, and meeting the evolving demands of the labor market in the era of digital transformation.

Through these partnership-building activities, agreements, and field visits, LHU reaffirms its strategic orientation toward applied education, international integration, and strong industry engagement - key priorities that contribute to enhancing the University’s standing both regionally and globally.
