On the morning of October 29, 2026, at Room B107, Campus 1, LHU held a MoU signing ceremony with the Korean Language Education Center in Ho Chi Minh City (KLECH), under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of KLECH, including Mr. Ahn Hee-chul, Director, and Mr. Kwon Hyukhan, Head of Administration, as well as LHU representatives: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lam Thanh Hien, Rector; Dr. Nguyen Huu Nghi, Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies; and M.A. Do Thi Thuy, Head of the Korean Studies Program.

The event marked a meaningful step forward in strengthening educational cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea, opening up opportunities for connection, academic exchange, and the development of Korean language training activities in the coming time.

Exchange of souvenir gifts
Through this MoU, LHU and KLECH aim to strengthen their cooperation in Korean language education and create more opportunities for academic exchange between the two institutions. The partnership is expected to support the improvement of Korean language training at LHU while giving students of the Korean Studies Program more opportunities to learn about Korean language and culture, interact with Korean educational representatives, and gain valuable experiences that will benefit their future studies and career development.
