Propaganda against crime and social evils for LHU students in 2023

On November 23 morning, 2023 LHU in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Education and Training held a conference to propagate crime and social evil prevention for students in 2023. This event aims to raise awareness and skills to prevent crime and social evils for students in the University. 

The conference saw the presence of Mr. Nguyen Xuan An Viet - Deputy Director of the Political Education and Pupil and Student Affairs Department; Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Trung Hieu - Deputy Head of Department 3, Office of the Ministry of Public Security; Lieutenant Colonel Khong Ngoc Oanh - Senior officer, Criminal Police Department; Major Nguyen Sinh Huy - Officer of Department 3, Office of the Ministry of Public Security and police officers in Dong Nai province. From LHU, there were Outstanding Teacher Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - Vice Rector; Nguyen Ho Xuan Huong, M.A and Vu Van Tuan, M.A - Head and Deputy Head of Office of Student Affairs, along with representatives of offices and departments, and more than 200 students at all levels.

At the propaganda session, Lieutenant Colonel Khong Ngoc Oanh - Senior officer, Criminal Police Department informed students about common crimes such as drug trafficking, prostitution, and cybercrime, and how gangsters and criminal organizations operate.

The propaganda session's main goal is to help students better understand the risks and consequences of crime and social evils, at the same time equip them with effective prevention measures. In addition, the event aims to contribute to raising students' awareness, responsibilities and roles in protecting themselves, their families, society and country from the negative impacts of crime and social evils.
