LHU signs a strategic partnership agreement with iCitizen Program and Bankas Company

On December 16, 2023, LHU officially signed a strategic collaboration agreement with iCitizen Program and Bankas Company, which promises to bring modern amenities and life for the LHU community in the field of education towards a smart citizen generation in Vietnam.

Attending the signing ceremony was a representative delegation including Mr. Nguyen Minh Hoang Dao - Chairman of the iCitizen Program and members of the Board of Directors. Representatives of LHU included DSc. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh - Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Lam - Vice Rector; and related units.

iCitizen Program - Smart Citizen is a utility enhancement program to improve the comprehensive quality of life for citizens in areas such as Finance, Insurance, Health, Education,... towards a generation of Smart Citizens in Vietnam and associated countries.

With the goal of Rich people, Strong country, the iCitizen Program will support and accompany LHU to improve quality of life amenities for officials, employees, lecturers and students, thus contributing to the development of Vietnamese education.

Accordingly, LHU, iCitizen and Bankas officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement, bringing 16 sponsorship items and 100 % support for comprehensive development of LHU. Specifically, they will financially support LHU to upgrade comprehensive facilities such as installation and maintenance of the green energy system, public wifi system, 2000 accounts to access international scientific data, Trung Nguyen Coffee startups model, medical room upgradement, higher education management software, water filtration system, health examinations,...

Also at the signing ceremony, the iCitizen side brought 200 scholarships in Japan for LHU students majoring in Information Technology.

Hopefully, the cooperation agreement will bring many advanced utilities and support services for the learning, teaching and research activities of LHU officials, lecturers, staff and students.
