3 LHU students receive Nang Buoc Thu Khoa Scholarship

The Organizers of Nang Buoc Thu Khoa scholarship program have just announced a list of 120 students from universities across the country to be awarded scholarships in 2023.

The Nang Buoc Thu Khoa scholarship program (Step Raising to Valedictorians) has been organized annually by Vietnam Young Talent Support Fund and Tien Phong Newspaper since 2016.

This year, the Organizers received 350 applications. Through review and consideration, 120 students as entrance valedictorians, specialized valedictorians, and high ranking students from universities nationwide were selected.

Scholarship recipients must meet all of the following conditions: being valedictorian or salutatorian of the university entrance exams; having difficult circumstances; being recommended by the school; having a desire to rise up (expressed in a letter sent to the Organizers); Priority given to ethnic minority children, especially special ethnic minorities; orphans and disabled cases. In some special cases, scholarships are awarded to students with top scores on the entrance exam recommended by the school.

Accordingly, LHU has 3 students receiving this scholarship, including Lam Huong Giang (Faculty of Civil Engineering); Pham Thuy Uyen majoring in Korean Studies (Faculty of Oriental Studies) and Tran Van Cuong from Faculty of Civil Engineering (former valedictorian - 3 consecutive years receiving the Valedictorian Scholarship).

The Nang Buoc Thu Khoa scholarship award ceremony is expected to be held on January 9, 2024.
