The truth behind students having to "dive into" real work before graduation

In spite of not having graduated yet, LHU students have engaged in an important project in which they have the opportunity to practice and gain insights into the career they are pursuing. This is a testament to LHU's commitment to combining theory with practice, allowing students not only to learn but also to gain real-world experience during their studies.

Students working directly with Japanese experts

In mid-August, a group of LHU students majoring in Japanese Studies participated as interpreters for the training of personnel operating Metro Line 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien), which officially took place at the Long Binh depot (Thu Duc city). The train operation team consisted of 58 Vietnamese trainees, divided into 4 groups, practicing under the direct guidance of Japanese experts. The LHU students' participation has significantly contributed to supporting both experts and train operators during the training process.

"This is an exciting experience for me, helping me gain a deeper understanding of my future job position. By working in a real-world setting, I can easily identify the additional skills I need to equip myself to meet future work requirements." - Nguyen Thi Nu shared.

The group of students participating in the interpretation included Nguyen Thi Nu (21DN113), Vong Vinh Loan (21DN113), Tran Quynh Trang (22DN112), Pham Thi Ngoc Anh (22DN112), Ho Nhat Minh (22DN112), Do Quang Hien (20DN112), Pham Vo My Huyen (20DN114), and Tran Thi Thuy Tien (23DN401).

“The knowledge gained at LHU has given me the confidence to enter the labor market. My study abroad experience in Japan has also helped me better understand the local culture and people, making it easier for me to adapt to my work." - Tran Thi Thuy Tien said.

This event not only enhances the University's training quality but also highlights students' roles in contributing to key projects. LHU is proud of its students' contributions and committed to continuing to create opportunities for them to develop comprehensively, ready to conquer challenges in the international working environment.
