2024-2025 academic year opening ceremony: Bustling and brilliant

Within the framework of the LHU Open Day 2024, LHU on October 30 evening solemnly held a ceremony to start the 2024-2025 new academic year at Buu Long Tourist Park, Bien Hoa city. The event took place in a vibrant and brilliant atmosphere, attracting more than 5,000 students at all levels.

Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Pham Tan Linh; Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs Pham Minh Phuoc; leaders of the Provincial Youth Union attended the event.

The ceremony also saw the presence of Dr. Do Thi Lan Dai - Chairwoman of the University Council; Dr. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector; members of the Rectorate Board, leaders of units under LHU, lecturers, staff members and alumni. There was also the attendance of representatives of businesses, universities, colleges, intermediate schools and high schools in the area.

On this occasion, LHU honorably received sponsorships from the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Ho Chi Minh City, Joy Music Company Limited (SingNow), and Nhan Tai Viet Accounting and Auditing Company Limited.

Also at the event, LHU announced its Decision to award 1,631 scholarships worth VND 6,549,350 billion to students of the 2024 intake, including 9 valedictorians with the highest entrance scores with scholarships worth 100% of first semester tuition and 13 freshmen with outstanding achievements in the excellent student and science and technology contests for high school students.

Right after the opening ceremony, thousands of students immersed themselves in a bustling party of music and lights through special performances of singers Quang Hung MasterD, Bao Anh, Thoai Nghi, Ari, Mc Goku and DJ Tina, many music groups,... as well as vibrant performances by LHU students and impressive exchange performances from high school students in Dong Nai. The event was filled with excitement and endless cheers from the audience.
