LHU Youth Union presented charity house to a poor family

Lying in the chains of 2015's summer activities and charity program, Lac Hong University’s Youth Union had raised money to build a charity house offered to a local family with difficult circumstance.

After three months of money collection and construction, recently LHU Youth Union in cooperation with local authorities handed over the charity house to the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Tot - a veteran living in Vinh Cuu district, Phu Ly commune.

Attending the handing over ceremony were Head of the provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda and Education Board Nguyen Minh Thanh, Secretary of LHU Party Committee Nguyen Trung Phuong, Secretary of LHU Youth Union Le Son Quang, Chairman of LHU Student Association Tran Tien, representatives of local authorities, Party members, representatives of Vinh Cuu district's People Committee,...  and 30 voluntary students who are participating in the Green Summer in Phu Ly commune.

Also at the ceremony, the University Management Board, cells and organizations presented many gifts serving daily needs of Mr. Tot family.

The presented house is worth VND 50 million donated by Lac Hong University and its students at all levels.
