LHU IT Faculty to associate with FPT Software

Recently, Dean of Information Technology Faculty Tran Van Lang had a working session with FPT delegation led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Vong - Training Manager of FPT Software JSC (Fsoft) and Mr. Thanh Phuoc - Superior training expert of FPT Software Co. The working session focused on "Global Software Talent 2015" program which will be added to IT Faculty students’ courses.

According to FSoft, this is a practice certificate training program within 300 hours for senior students. This program is a former project aiming to train new staff when entering FPT. After the two sides have established the association relation, this program will be applied in students' curricular. This actually helps students know real requirements of the company. In students' learning process, Fsoft will coordinate with the University to organize examinations to ackowledge  students' accomplishment. This will be favorable to students when they enter the FPT without retraining challenge.

Applying "Global Software Talent 2015" program into training program is advantageous to students of IT Faculty in particular and LHU in general.  In addition, Fsoft will hold technology examinations in order to develop students' skills.

The association program between the two sides has been established, promising many long –term benefits.

They may also sponsor job fairs, accept apprentices, cooperate to speed up technology with foreign companies and so on. After this working session, the two sides will have three months to make workforce training plan. The University will also send its lecturers to get specialized training courses at FPT. Then Fsoft will come to LHU to connect the system and build training programs. The program is expected to apply to students of IT Faculty in early 2016.
