LHU students responded to "Voluntary Saturday, Green Sunday" campaign

In the morning of November 7, LHU students gathered at Dong Nai provincial Sports Center to attend the launching ceremony of “For a better life" sponsored by Spec paint trademark - 4 Oranges Company and Dong Nai provincial Youth Union in order to respond to the campaign "Voluntary Saturday, Green Sunday".

The ceremony saw the presence of leaders of departments, agencies, organizations, representatives of sponsors and more than 300 Dong Nai Youth Union members. The event also saw the participation of MC Quyen Linh as an ambassador.

Participating in the program, LHU students joined in various activities such as distributing 500 environmentally friendly biological bags in Bien Hoa market, 1000 leaflets telling how to save electricity, water and planting 200 trees in Tran Bien Temple of Literature.

This meaningful program helps local citizens, youth union members, youngsters to raise their awareness of protecting the environment, saving electricity and water; using natural resources appropriately; for the nation's sake, limiting plastic bags and planting trees. This is also one of the activities the University Youth Union has launched in order to raise students' awareness of environment protection.
