More than 300 units of blood donated at the 35th blood donation program

In the morning of October 27, Lac Hong University Youth Union - Students' Association in cooperation with Dong Nai province’s Red Cross Association and Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre launched the 35th humanitarian blood donation program at the campus 3.  The blood donation program lies in a series of activities in order to welcome the 6th Congress of LHU Students' Association Delegates, tenure 2015 - 2017.

The blood program is one of the annual activities of LHU Youth Union - Student Association. It is also a meaningful occasion for the University's teachers, staff and students to show their good deed for the community, contributing to providing blood sources to save people's lives. This is the second turn in 2015 the University organized the blood donation program. Earlier, 229 units of blood were collected and provided to hospitals.

Responding enthusiastically, more than 400 volunteers have signed up for this program. As a result, 326 units of blood were collected at the event.

Speaking at the campaign, "Voluntary blood donation is really a meaningful and practical program. Right from the early morning,  I came here to both help the Organizing Board and register to donate my blood. I hope there will be more opportunities for me to show the good deed and useful and meaningful life like this" shared Nguyen Quoc Hieu - freshman from the Faculty of Pharmacy.

326 units of bloods were collected from teachers, staff and students at the 35th blood donation program.
