LHU Laborer Conference 2015 to be held

Yesterday's morning, 148 delegates representing more than 500 faculty members and staff of LHU witnessed the signature of Collective Labor Agreement and Emulation Agreement 2015-2016 at 2015 LHU Laborer Conference. The conference saw the presence of Mr. Nguyen Trung Phuong - Secretary of Party Committee, Mr. Do Huu Tai - Chairman of the Board of Trustees - Rector, Mr. Diep Cam Thu - Chairman of Trade Union and Mr. Le Son Quang - Secretary of Youth Union.

The birth of Collective Agreement signed between the Rector and the Executive Board of Trade Union is the proof of protecting the legal and legitimate rights of laborers in the University. After a half of a month of colleting laborers' opinions, at the conference, Mr. Do Huu Tai - Chairman of the Board of Trustees - Rector and Mr. Diep Cam Thu - Chairman of Trade Union signed the Collective Labor Agreement of the academic year 2015 - 2016. In addition, in order to speed up emulation movements, representatives of 26 units of the University signed the Emulation Agreement of 2015 -2016 school year.

Heads of units respectively signed the Emulation Agreement.

On the occasion, through the closing report of the academic year 2014 - 2015, stressing on orientations of 2015 - 2016 academic year and marking the 15th anniversary of LHU Trade Union, the Organizing Board awarded certificates of merit of the National Education Union of Vietnam (NEUV) to five individuals for their excellent achievements in trade union activities during 15 years, 2000 - 2015 stage and two collectives and two excellent trade union members in 2014 - 2015 academic year. In addition, the Executive Committee of Trade Union praised the outstanding achievements made by union members in recreational activities; typically Third Prize at "Learning about law in 2015 NEUV system - Southern region" contest. 20 excellent items at the 5th Teacher Singing Contest and four outstanding football teams at the Annual Football Cup were also awarded certificates of merit at the event. The Laborer Conference was organized successfully before unity spirit, determination and willingness for LHU's and Trade Union's activities in the new stage.

Rector Do Huu Tai awarded certificates of merit of the NEUV to five excellent individuals in Trade Union movement, the stage 2000 - 2015.

Vice Rector Nguyen Van Nam awarded certificates of merit to excellent winners at the 2015 Teacher Singing Contest.
