LHU received Kwangju Women's University

Recently, a delegation from Kwangju Women's University had a working session to discuss cooperation program with LHU. Head of International Relations Dept. Huynh Trung Tam, Dean of Oriental Studies Faculty Nguyen Thi Anh and Vice Manager of Academic Affairs Dept. Luu Ngoc Cuong warmly welcomed the delegation. Kwangju Women's University delegation included Mr. Kim Seong Jin - Director of Industrial Research and Management Institute and Mr. Baek Joo Seok - Leader of International Education Center.

At the working session, Kwangju Women's University said in 2009, they had visited and signed a MoU with LHU. However, for the past time, they had not discussed the cooperation content in detail with LHU. This meeting, they wished to establish a specific plan to implement the MoU".

LHU received Kwangju Women's University after 7 years of signing the MoU.

Also, the two sides respectively introduced their training activities at the working session.  They made initial cooperation proposals, too. Kwangju is one of the prestigious universities in Korea, strong in training business administration and health care majors, so it wishes to cooperate with the University in this field. In addition, Kwangju Women's University can support LHU in training and exchanging languages. Specifically students of Korean Studies major will take 15 week course equivalent to one semester in Kwangju Women's University.

Through proposals made by Kwangju Women's University, representative of LHU said he would discuss with his Universiy Management Board and units in charge to find out best realizable directions. Then the two sides will have a direct working session to find out joint orientations.
