Meeting to mark the 66th anniversary of Students’ Day

In the morning of January 7 at room E 501 – campus 3, LHU Student Association held a solemn ceremony to celebrate the 66th anniversary of Students’ Day and Vietnamese Student Association (January 9, 1950 - January 9, 2016) and to commend "students of five merits" in the academic year 2014 - 2015.

The ceremony was attended by Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union's Deputy Head of School - Youth Vu Thi Huong; LHU's Secretary of Party Committee Nguyen Trung Phuong, Vice Rector Meritorious Teacher Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, Vice Rector Nguyen Van Nam, Secretary of Youth Union Le Son Quang, Chairman of Student Association Tran Tien, cadres, comrades, representatives from offices, departments, nearly 500 students, excellent collectives and individuals in Student Association’s activities.

The meeting aimed to review glorious traditions of Vietnamese Student Association and to praise excellent individuals for their outstanding achievements and contributions to students’ movements.

Vice Rector Nguyen Thi Thu Lan delivered a speech at the meeting.

On the occasion, the University Student Association awarded title "Students of five merits" to five students at school level, certificates of merit to collectives and individuals for their excellent achievements in Student Association activities in 2014 - 2015 academic year.
