LHU won two Bronze Prizes at 4th National Teacher Singing Festival

After one month of preparation and practice, LHU has excellently won two Bronze prizes at the 4th National Teacher Singing Festival held by the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) in cooperation with the National Education Union of Vietnam.

The 4th National Teacher Singing Festival saw the presence of Mr. Ngu Duy Anh - Department Head of Pupil and Student Works of the MoET, Mr. Ha Huu Phuc - Director of the Representative Office of the MoET in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Vu Minh Duc - Chairman of National Education Union of Vietnam (NEUV), Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Hop - Vice Chairwoman of NEUV, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy - Vice Chairwoman of HCM City Federation of Labor, Mr. Nguyen Tien Dat - Vice Director of HCM City Department of Education and Training, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Dinh Thanh - Rector of HCM City University of Technology and a great number of teachers and students of universities, colleges and educational institutions in the Southern region.

The Festival is a traditional activity of education field held each five years. Lac Hong University participated in the festival with its enthusiasm to contribute to building cultural and arts movements in educational institutions and improve the spiritual life of officials, teachers, workers, creating an exciting atmosphere to fulfill emulation tasks. The event is also an opportunity for LHU to strengthen exchanges, learning and experience and knowledge exchanges between schools.

The Organization Board awarded certificates of merit to wining units.

Performance item "Lac Hong University song" awarded Bronze prize.

Participating in this year festival, there were 28 universities, colleges and educational institutions with nearly 800 performers and 126 singing, dancing, music, drama items. Most performance items focused on the fatherland, sea and islands theme. At the festival, LHU built the theme "Lac Hong Bloodstream Echo" and finally won two Bronze prizes for its performance items. The festival took place on April 10 and 11 and the awarding ceremony was held in the evening of the last day.
