LHU's home-made car won Impressive Design at 2016 EMC

"How many kilometers can you drive with a liter of gasoline?"- Students of Mechatronics - Electronics Faculty - LHU can design a car which travels 450km /per liter of petrol and also wins Impressive Design awarded by the press and the Organization Board.

LHU teams received Impressive Design Prize and TOP 5 best teams of 2016 EMC.

Recently, Honda Vietnam Company held the finals of "2016 Honda Eco Mileage Challenge - The 7th Vietnam Competition" at the National Convention Center - in Me Tri, My Dinh, Hanoi. This year's competition attracted the participation of 184 teams including 149 teams at home-made car category and 35 teams at market car category.

At this year's finals, LHU had two teams LH-GE (Gold Energy) and LH-EST competing at "homemade cars for pupils and students" category. As a result, they excellently won two prizes at the same time - Impressive Design and TOP 5 best teams.

2016 EMC in Vietnam had seen an exciting and thrilling race. With the challenge "How many kilometers can you drive with a liter of gasoline?", "Eco Driving - Honda Fuel Efficiency", the competition is a fuel efficient playground for students of universities nationwide.

Started in Vietnam in 2010, after 7 years of organization, the program has received the great attention and participation from universities, colleges and teams of technology across the country who have the same technology joy. Here, passion and creativity is strongly expressed and promoted. The competition is not only for the technology but also a place for teams to exchange, learn, improve personal and teamwork skills. Especially, EMC is an opportunity for students to present smart ideas, technology inventions specifically to achieve fuel efficiency in an optimal way. The implementation process is also a chance for teams to experience the joy of creativity, challenge acceptance, thereby raising awareness of fuel-saving and environmental protection.
