Five robot teams from LHU dominate round of 8

The final round of Robocon Vietnam 2016 was kicked off at Ninh Binh provincial Sports House on May 9. The contest saw the participation of 32 teams selected from qualifying rounds in three areas over the country, North, South and Central.

The 32 best teams competed at the qualifying round of the final from May 9 to 12. As a result, 16 teams were selected for the round of 8.

This year, Dong Nai-based Lac Hong University had six teams participating in the final round the 2016 Vietnam Robot Contest. Excellently, five of them were selected for the round of 8 namely LH-F, LH-FF, LH-ACE, LH-GE and LH-SEA. Other teams come from Hung Yen University of Technology and Education, Ha Noi Vocational College of Mechatronics, Sao Do University, Tran Dai Nghia University, Ha Tinh Vocational College of Technology and Ha Noi University of Industry.

Following matches between robot teams will be continued tonight on VTV2 Television at 8:00 p.m. From there, the champion will represent Vietnam to attend the 2016 ABU Asian-Pacific Robot Contest which is scheduled for August this year in Thailand.
