Mr. Toru Asai highly appreciated LHU's cooperation in new project.

On the issue of cooperation with the University, Mr. Toru Asai said that presently, ensuring technical human resources at manufacturing plants was a problem and required the training of human resources based on the demand of small and medium enterprises in the field of production for investment. Earlier from July 2014 to March 2017, the Pacific Resource Exchange Center (PREX) has innovated training programs. Whereby, PREX has selected LHU to pilot and play a key role in training technical human resources for Dong Nai province. After 3 years, to make this activity work and to provide human resources for small and medium enterprises in Japan's production sector, the goal is to take efforts to enhance teaching qualifications and increase the number of lecturers at the University to be able to take on this training program. This is the next step the two sides will work together in the coming time. This project is expected to be carried out in about 3 years and Dong Nai, LHU is the first place to implement with the expectation of expansion in relations and depth in development scale.

In order to implement the project, MEITI will train human resources with coordinative function and send supporting specialists. This activity was conducted under the cooperation with the Overseas Human Resources and Industry Development Association (HIDA) - an agency of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan.

METI-KANSAI delegation listened to LHU's suggestions on new project.

First step, LHU will recommend maximum 10 officials and lecturers to join in the training course in Japan's Kansai region (Osaka, Kobe, and Kyoto). The training course will last 7 days, expected in September, 2017.

LHU has officially received the new project of MEITI, accepting challenges and taking every effort to contribute to the economic development of the province, also changing a new face of the University just full 20 years old.
