Secretary of Dong Nai provincial Party Committee Nguyen Phu Cuong visited LHU

In the morning of June 2, LHU was honored to welcome a delegation from provincial leaders led by Mr. Nguyen Phu Cuong - Member of the Central Party Committee - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of Dong Nai People's Council, Mr. Vo Van Chanh - Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People's Committee together with representatives of Department of Propaganda and Training, Committee for Emulation and Reward, Bien Hoa City Party Committee, Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Finance , Department of Natural Resources and Environment for their visiting and working with the University.

 People's Teacher Dr. Do Huu Tai - Rector was proud of the efforts LHU has made and suggested the provincial leaders to support the University in science and technology application.

Receiving the delegation was Mr. Nguyen Trung Phuong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Ms. Do Thi Lan Dai - Chairman of the Trustees Board; Mr. Do Huu Tai - Vice Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector and members of the University Management Board.

At the working session, LHU reported its performance including achievements at the Vietnam Robot Competition and some scientific results as well as technology transfer in recent years. Through this, Standing Vice Rector Lam Thanh Hien presented difficulties and proposed the support from the provincial leaders with the main goal of transferring technological playground of students to serving Technology for the development of the province. At the event, Secretary Nguyen Phu Cuong highly appreciated LHU for its 20 years of establishment and development. He also suggested the University to continue to improve training quality, promote technological scientific research applied into practice. He especially noted that, in addition to focusing on the strengths of research and development in industry field, the University had to pay attention to research and application in agriculture field ... Reminding the fourth technology revolution, according to him, LHU is a university with a great deal of scientific research activities, typically robot creation, research results applied in industry and production. With this revolution, LHU has many conditions and bases to achieve success.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee checked a 3D product made from 3D printer created by LHU students.

Before the proposals from the University, the Secretary of Provincial Party Committee has assigned relevant departments to support LHU to develop industrial robotic making and researching department to serve industrial production. Also, the province will continue to fund LHU representing Vietnam at the ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest in August and introduce the University to enterprises to cooperate and training human resources, transferring technology...

The delegation attended a programing class of NAO robot by Japanese technology.

After working with LHU, the delegation visited scientific products made lecturers and students at the Center for Scientific Research and Application such as attending the programing class of NAO robot by Japanese technology, visiting robots winning domestic and international rot competitions, learning the automatic bundle machine and visiting the model of 3D printer made by students ...

On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Nguyen Phu Cuong awarded certificate of merit to LH-NICESHOT team - representative of Vietnam at the ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest 2017 in Tokyo in August.

On the occasion, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee awarded certificate of merit of the Provincial People's Committee to individuals and collectives for their outstanding achievements including robot team wining championship title at Vietnam Robot Contest 2017; three-student group winning Third Prize in the Digital Race, a student winning Third Prize at Student Scientific Research Prize at ministry level and group of students achieving Third Prize at the Euréka Scientific Research Award organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union.
