LHU signed cooperation with Gyeongnam Namhae University

Representative of the first Korean National University, Mr. Hong Deok Soo - President of Gyeongnam Namhae University had a working visit and signed a cooperation agreement with LHU this morning at campus 1.

The delegation was received by Vice Rector Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, Head of International Relations Department Nguyen Thanh Lam, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Nguyen Huu Nghi. The Gyeongnam delegation included Mr. Kim Byoung Bum - Head of Gyeongnam Do Province Rrepresentative Office in Vietnam and Mr. Ahn, Jung Han - Dean of International Language Faculty of Gyeongnam Namhae University.

Leaders of the two universities jointly signed the "Cooperation Agreement"

At the working session, Head of Gyeongnam Do Province Rrepresentative Office in Vietnam Kim Byoung Bum said "As an international bridge, especially the bridge between LHU and prestigious universities in Korea for many years, has brought many good results for the both sides. This time, we realized many similar strengths between Gyeongnam Namhae University and LHU, so we continue to connect the two universities. On this occasion, I look forward to witnessing that the two sides sign the memorandum of understanding (MoU)."

After the discussion, the MoU between LHU and Gyeongnam Namhae University was officially signed, promising to exchange teaching and students, especially to develop hot majors of the two universities such as Electricity - Electronics, Tourism, Hotels - Restaurants, Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology.

At the meeting, the both units introduced their training activities, thereby, offering initial cooperation proposals.

The cooperation agreement promises to open many academic exchange activities, useful development for the both sides

Gyeongnam Do province is considered to be the heart of Korea. Gyeongnam Namhae is the first and prestigious National School of Korea. Its training majors are highly competitive in Korea and other countries in the world.
